Hi,

I like to design wire based microstrip “like” filter for 440 Mhz. Is there any calculator can take round wire parameters and calculate my strip line. Also if there are any easy way to incorporate the lip section to this calculation.

Thanks,
Levent – WW2L

I don't think there is a calculator just for coupled wires.
But there are EM simulators as HFSS, CST, Sonnet, etc, that can do this project.

On the other hand, to build and tune a filter like this, would be a challenge without using trim-caps.
