Is there a solution to step up from 5V DC to 300V? Or 12V to 300V (DC)?

I found something on this forum as Flyback Inverters... I want to use it to power my CDI.

You can convert almost every voltage to 300VDC, but the complexity depends on many parameters (power requirements, short circuit behavior, tolerance, etc).

You can use boost circuit. However, it is better to use 2 or 3 stages.

Best bet is a push pull converter with transformer - bridge rectified secondary to get the 300V, 50 watts at 300V is 10 amps from 5V - don't forget...

Ok. Is there a schema? I need to have enough power. This because the ignition reeds the 300v. The bobine fries it up....

How about the output current requirement?

Just like a conventional ignition from a moped...

Are you sure you actually need 300VDC for ignition? I thought that usually you just deliver high voltage pulses, which can be provided from a lower voltage DC source with a step up transformer.

Leo_o2 asked you a question regarding current, as this has large influence on the topology and the design itself.

Do you think that your reply does help him to help you?

Maybe I did not understand the question right? As a Dutchman my English should be good, but I could have misinterpreted the question.

I think it should be a DC. input current is around 80 uA?
