I am doing a project based on RFID interfacing with atmega16.

Here's the circuit diagram
https://obrazki.elektroda.pl/89_1315018587.gif

I have to buy RFID. What should I ask in the electronics store and what are the necessary things that I should check with the RFID while buying?

Also I see we use two db9. The one end of db9 which has the wires will be connected to max232 and the other end consists of holes. So how do I connect two db9?

rfid modules comes in serial interface type.... you have to connect UART of microcontroller to RFID whose output is given in rs232 format...

You mean it should have a port to which we can connect db9?

My another doubt was this- How to connect two db9. I mean one end is for wires but I usually insert the other end to a port.

i dont understand if you are purposefully trying to pull these threads as long as possible or what is your intention....

why are you doing a project without the basics knowledge????? you wont learn anything by repeatedly asking same sort of questions in every thread you create.... you get all answers even if you google it.... and you dont understand what we are telling you...

I usually connect the other end of the db9 to a port, say com1 port, but in that diagram if you see, we see wires in both sides of the db9. In the db9 that I have there is provision for connecting in one end only. That was the reason why I asked that question.
