Question about UPS without load protection for DSL WiFi router

I am Currently having Digilink DGU 600ML ups,i.e 600VA,The ups has no load protection.
I need to run only my DSL Wifi router which consumes 12V 1A=12watts.
How can I run the device for long hrs..Coz the ups has no load protection and it goes off after minutes time.How do i make the modification

Re: UPS related Question

UPS will be drwing more current than the load. It has internal 12V battery. Simply connect with it. Let UPS to only chage the battery.
