i am in a urgent need of microcontroller with transreceiver in it and also if supporting bluetooth. However microcontroller with a transreceiver is a must requirement.
Please Hlep me out with this if you know the microcontroller i should look for or advice me if anything else can be done.

You can use PIC16f87x... PIC18fxxx series... I am using PIC877A For the same purpose..... & provide some details about your project. What you are going to to? It's may usefull all to give you a valuable answere.....

what kind of transceivers do you expect to have.... . everybody will be under assumption of a simple transceivrs.. but you need bluetooth also..

If it is for commercial purpose then you need to be very specific about the requirement and OEM requirement.... there are processors from ARM and renases used for automotive products.. what excatly are you searching and for what level of projects......

I have to basically use a microcontroller to transmit values over a range of 2 to 3 metres..derefore i was thinking if i can use a microcontroller wid a integrated transreceiver?? please temme how can i do it?

I need trans receivers to transmit values over 2-3 meters. I am doing a project- i have to basically take a sensor values as input in the microcontroller and then trasmit it out over 2-3 meters. bluetooth has a range of over 10 meters, but i need to transmit it over 2-3 meters only. please tell me how can i do it??

have a look at MiWi (a low cost version of Zigbee)
**broken link removed**

what is the range of miwi??

what is the range of miwi??

i just checked the range for mifi is more then 100 metres but i want nly for 2-3 metres.

range depends on the antenna and where you are using it (building, walls, etc).
Using a PCB antenna 10metres should be no problem, using an external antenna 50 to 100 metres.

i have to use it inside a room only but i want to use it within a range of < 5 metres(precisely)..so that how ca i do it?? in that case bluetooth also has a range of 10 metres.

hi

it depends on a lot of things
you can use simple ASK module to the complex blue tooth module.
which controller you know?
you write programs in assembly or C?
the sensor output is digital/ analog?
what is the rate at which you want to send the data?
