Hi !
If anybody working on GPS Receiver Holux Br89 or already worked on this project then please share the schematic to see GPS Data on Hyper terminal.

GR89 supports NMEA-0183 v2.2 data protocol and SiRF binary code.

It uses serial communication as it gives two channels of tx and rx. use can use txA and connect to rx of PC through serial cable.

Hi, antenna's RF signal you have to connect to pin 17.
Pin 19 and 20 is used to supply power for active antenna.
If you are using passive, just leave them open. If active- you have connect pin 19 to pin 20.
Im working with holux M-89 and already getting gps strings.
Good luck.

Thanks for the answer but can u explain me the difference between active and passive antenna.
