hello I need some modern equivalents for the mrf472 old transistor please

Hi,
I can't give an exact equivalent, but another popular RF transistor is D44C. Many people have used that instead of MRF72.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

How about the BD139? they are of the same physical size, although I know this does not matter. What is the power dissipation of the MRF72?

I'm not sure, but it's rated at 65V, 1A.

You mean, MRF472, right?

Tahmid.

Yes.
I am making a small transmitter on it and I have used bd139. The output is only 800mW and the author of the circuit refers to an output of 2W if MRF472 is used. Thus I would like to find an equivalend of this transistor but I cannot even find a pdf datasheet of it.

Neither can I. I found the specs that I gave from a data book that I had, but there the max power dissipation was not listed.

Tahmid.
