Hi,
Would someone tell me the MIPS/MHz of LPC1768 (LPC Cortex-M3)?
Thanks a lot for any suggestion.

Are you talking about Drystons MIPS? The LPC1768 runs at 100Mhz and most instructions are single cycle. The number usually thrown around for the M3 is 1.25 DMIP/Mhz but any drystone score should be viewed with skepticism.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
Yes,I mean Drystons MIPS.
So the LPC Cortex-M3 and STM Cortex-M3 have same DMIPS/Mhz (1.25)?
Is there any document from NXP which mention the DMIPS/Mhz of these chips?

All M3 CPUs should have roughly the same DMIPS/Mhz. There will be some differences based on the speed of the flash memory used. NXP tends to use slower flash memory in order to get their excellent power consumption figures. However, the choice of compiler probably has a larger effect on the DMIP score than the hardware deifferences between M3s. Since I have that 1.25 figure everywhere, my guess is that it came from ARM and is taken under optimal conditions.
