Dear all,

Do you have any ideas of how to design a 50 ohm microstrip in such a way that can absorb all the reflected radiation coming in, S11 should be <-20dB ideally, I mean to change the property of the microstrip itself, this should have cost efficiency if it works. Please help,

Thank you

Hello Hanh Le,

My rectangular inset fed microstrip antenna does that on a 77GHz frequency... you should start by calculating the LxW and the inset feed line and then optimize it...

I consider that case, however, my output is not planar, and it is an array output, then there would be interference and S11 would be higher, my resonant freq is at 15GHz, er = 2.35

My goal is to design a sidewall which will absorbs all the signal in or no reflected signal
