Hello guys,

I am trying to simulate Inverted- F antenna by using SMA connector as the feeding. But the error happen:

Port refinement, process hf3d error: Port WavePort1 is assigned to an internal face. Only allowed with lumped ports..

Could you help me to solve this problem? I have defined the antenna as solid copper.

You have placed your waveport INSIDE of your model. The waveport face needs to be on an outer face of the model unless backed by a PEC object. I would simply replace your waveport with a lumped port on the coax face and solve again. Using a lumped port is fine here, but you want to ensure that the coax face is indeed whatever impedance that your lumped port is.

viel spaB :)
