Hi all,

For noise filter, if bypass it, its delay is small, otherwise, its delay is very large. When do STA, we can set case_anythesis 0 for bypassing noise filter, because the STA tool can recognize this command. But when I do ckSynthesis in CTS, it's delay is very large and add too much buffer on other clock paths. it seems that ckSynthesis didn't recognize command: set case_anythesis 0 or 1. What I wanted is bypassing noise filter. Is there any good method? Thanks a lot.

Re: cksynthesis problem

you need to set an exclude point in your clock spec on the output of your mux to the long path (check manual for syntax). This way cts will not try to balence the two paths.
