I have a paper stating that if one is to measure the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) as a ratio of (input signal amplitude RMS) / (mean[RMS of the first 5 harmonics]) then that is the SINAD for a DFT with Nyquist BW (fsample/2). This is all well, but I have a system with a Anti-Aliasing filter before the DFT that is less than the Nyquist BW. How should I approach the SINAD measurement for this scenario or does it not matter?

Thanks!
