simplest pulse transmitter

i am looking for a simple circuit which can transmit a radio pulse through antena and a reciver which can detect that pulse ..... can any one please help
 

Hi,
I would say, select the simplest FM transmitter circuit & a commercial receiver pls and you have it...

you have to declare your datarate & the usable frequency....
 

budy any data rate any suitable frequency . the task is to count the no. of rotations of a wheel . after 10 rotations micro controller will set one of the port pin high the pulse transmiter will transmit a pulse for a sec and receiver will sense the presence and indicate to other micro controller at some distance

seems to be nice components & idea! :)
By possibly over 10meter distances & in buildings (with lot of reflexions & "zero points")_I would use a "Sub-GHz" system i.e. the TR433...
