Hi,

I designed a circuit in cadence Spectre, and peformed noise analysis. The noise analysis reports total integrated noise and total input referred noise in units of uV^2 /Hz. I want to know how to convert it into corresponding decibels.

Thanks,
EA

hii can u plzz tell me how to calculate input reffered noise by doing noise analysis?i have done noise analysis and obtained noise response bt unable to find input referd noise kindly reply

hi~ rismriti.
i think you want to calculate noise figure by using input referred noise voltage. noise figure(NF) is calculated this equation.
NF=10log(1+(V^2/kTR))
(V=input referred noise voltage, k=boltzmann's constant, T=temperature in Kavin, R=50Ω)
