Hi Guys,

I am designing an DIFFERENTIAL OPAMP in Cadence and would like to know if there are any tutorials that show how to measure the performance (different dc and ac parameters like gain, offset voltage, offset, bandwidth, distortion, etc.) of the OPAMP in Spectre?

Thanks.

Perhaps the presentation below may be helpful?

Thanks,erikl.

I am designing a self biased cascode amplifier.

Where can I get the Iref and cmref signals that are mentioned on slide 5?

Based on the slides, I am assuming that I have to build the circuit on page 8 and then measure the performance.

Is there another tutorial to help understand how to plot all the analyses?

Iref depends on your required bandwidth. cmref usually is (vdd-vss)/2 . Read any book on Analog Design (e.g. Allen/Holberg, Baker, Binkley, Gray/Meyer, Razavi) ... just to name a few.

Quite a lot, probably - but I don't have another one, sorry :-( . For "how to plot", see Cadence User Guide on wavePlot.
