creation of bluetooth software for mobile

Hi,

I would like to make a project to control the appliances through bluetooth from mibile phone. The idea is this..

The appliances are connected to microcontroller and the microcontroller to bluetooth card. The bluetooth card will be paired to the mobile phone. The mobile phone commands the appliances to turn of or turn on.

My problem is what software will i put/install to my mobile phone?

Is anyone could help me?

what is your mobile???
if it is one of those with an operating system and supported with development tools like Nokia's symbian and maemo, or Google Andorid, or Windows mobile, then you can develop your own app using the available API to interface with bluetooth.
