Hi all,

I am looking for a company to wind transformers for SMPS around 120W in batches of 100. Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Keith.

Re: Can anyone recommend a UK SMPS transformer winding compa

MIANYANG MAIKE MAGNETIC CO。,LTD specializes in producing and selling magnetic components, including ferrite cores, inductors, transformers and LED diver power.
Our factory is located in Sichuan Province of China. Our products are all made to satisfy the requirements of the European Union RoHS, and have ISO 90001 certification.
Our advantage lies in strong research-and-development capabilities, abundant materials, highly cost performance.

Your company sounds good,

We wish to order an offline smps transformer.

However, we don't know whether or not to add a bias winding, or whether to just supply bias power from a LNK302.

So,

Please could you tell the approximate difference in price of the following two transformers (our quantities are 5000 per year)

1. Flyback (85-265VAC) ...just primary and secondary winding (Np/Ns = 4.5)
2. Flyback (85-265VAC)...primary , secondary (Np/Ns = 4.5) and bias winding

basically , what i am saying is, is it much cheaper to have a transformer assembled with two windings rather than three?

Been a long time since I 'played'. No experience of them but they seem to have the full range of supplies and equipment..

The site ticks the right boxes,
