A little confuse.

You've got computers, why bought PS2? :D

i agree with u
in IC5 $pecter is the analog simulator and it is great
but i think Hspice is the most powerFull analog simulator and there r many designers around the world prefer to use it

Another thing some foundry provide only Hspice model level=49. It is very close to Bsim3, but has some difference.

sometimes, we can say that hspice is industry standard. most foundry support it.

Actually , you can't use Hspice in IC50 version , Becasue in Linux cersion , It can't support psf format . SO that If you use IC50 , I think spectre-rf is better

HSPICE is the most flexible program. The user has direct control of all of the simulation parameters and can set them to allow all simulations to run with no convergence problems. PSpice adjusts most of these parameters automatically which causes convergence problems some times. For users who do not know what the parameters do PSpice is probably the best one to use.

I think it's just bussiness issues. You may know in Asia the HSpice is more popular than PSpice. So this is the answer
