if i want 9V AC from a 220V ac mains,through a transformer,then what should be the value of the transformer!

Reading your questions, you should not get close to the 220V mains: it is very dangerous and could cause life hazards for you and or someone who uses your design!

u r just playing games here

simply go to electronics store & ask him to give me a "220v to 9v transformer"
u must know how much current u need
 

yes guys i know,a step down transformer is a trasformer which converts high voltage into low voltage,and increases the current(amp).
and i am not joking guys!
