hi,
I'm using soc encounter with faraday/umc130. I'm getting IO-filler overlapping violations (attached gif of layout). I executed these commands

addIoFiller -cell EMPTY16LB -prefix if16
addIoFiller -cell EMPTY8LB -prefix if8
addIoFiller -cell EMPTY4LB -prefix if4
addIoFiller -cell EMPTY2LB -prefix if2
addIoFiller -cell EMPTY1LB -prefix if1 -fillAnyGap

need help how to fix this...

I believe it is from this line:
addIoFiller -cell EMPTY1LB -prefix if1 -fillAnyGap

Check standard-cell documentation if the EMPTY1LB can be overlapped.
The errors may be false violations. Ignore it if this is the case.

You'll learn in time that the tool is just limited in capability & sometimes engineers can't be bothered to make the tool know every single false violation to waive.
