PIC18f458 - led blinking what is the problem?

led blinking

hi friends..........

i am using PIC18f458,it is working well for serial communication.but when i tried to blink the led it doesnt obey.i have use PORTB.but if i touch the led terminal led is blinking.........whats the problem









pls replay me

may be the connections are loose so when you are touching the terminal it glows
its because of the dry soldering


or another problem may be you are not using a pull up resistance for the led to give it a proper supply

thank for replay now my led blinking is workinging after i added the 10k reses to mclr from 5v.......

does it mean that when you connected the mclr to +5v the led didn't glow except with 10k?

just conncect the 5v to mclr pin,it means disable the program mode..............so it will give good response for our program.

i'm working on pis16F777 microcontroller for same thing. can u provide me your code in c. appreciate your help.
