Re: HELP: PHILIPS LCD 170S PROBLEM

Hello everyone,
I have a problem with a Philips 170S monitor when the monitor is turned on if the electricity fails, the monitor will not turn anymore. The monitor turns on only after some hours. I think it is a problem on the power supply board.
What do you think?
thanks

Open the back cover of monitor and check all the capacitors as a first step.

thank you, but it's the same thing
Best regards...

Hi nunzio81,

Check all the voltage output at CN951 but take the usual care of live power.

The pins are as follows:-
1,2,5,8,12 = G
3, 4 = 5V
6, 7 = 12V
9, 10, 11 = control

For easy reference, (extracted from the above schematics).

hi,
my power board is AMBIT T50P046.00 / T50P050.00 when it goes to BLACK OUT, there is no output voltage. After an hour the monitor works well.
thanks
