fbus commands

I'm going to interface a PIC with nokia 3310.

Can anybody tell me whats the relationship between FBUS & AT Commands?

There's another thing called PDU & Text format I'm confused with those words.

Thanks

AT Commands are ASCII codes.
Nokia FBUS is a protocol.

For FBUS look at

or for AT Commands

Thanks mate I understood little bit.

I have some problems. Now phones like 3310 are not available. What are the other phones supporting FBUS which is commonly available?

The other problem is when I send a sample frame (get H/W & S/W version) to phone the phone will reply with two frames.

First frame is the acknowledge & the other is the data frame requested by us.

I want to know whats the time interval between these two frames?

Search the forum to find out more about phones supporting FBUS. There has been a lot of discussion on this topic.
