how to do GND copper pouring in protel dxp

do you mean on a single/double sided board? if so just goto Place/Polygon. setup you minimum grid (0 for solid) and track size/angle. select Gnd (or whatever you called it) in the net selector. select pour over same net and remove dead copper and away you go.
if you mean on a multilayer board (a gnd plane) you need to set it up in the layer stack manager
