grid-connected inverter
first, thanks for reading my post... i'm newbie in power control and i have many problems in ac... i hope not to disturb you
my friends made a wind turbine for generating electricity; they finally arrived to 2 wires each is 12V dc/40A.... they want to transfer it to 220V ac and the excess power; they want to save it in a battery 12V/40A also... and i have to make the control...
my questions:
1) because the idea of the inverter is based on clock source; why to prefer (for example) ic 555 or 4047, and if i have to choose a circuit from the attached schematics; my choice must be based on what?!!!
2) how i can know if the output of the signal of the attached circuits is a square wave or sine wave; (if it's the case of square wave does that makes a damage for any inductive circuit fed by this square wave?!!)
3) which design is better, the one is based on microcontrollers, or only a clock source?!!
4) the power rating is 480 watt as you can see, and the grid will not consume all this power... how can i charge a battery from the excess power for the period when there is not enough wind (and how i can protect the overcharge)
5) how i can protect the inverter from the overload... can i implement a switch breaker between the input (the wire 12V) and the inverter or there is a better idea
finally, thanks for your kindness to read all this message... i will be very thankfull if you helped me.
