level translator 5v 1.8v

Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions what IC can be used to provide level translation where the I/O voltage on one side can range from 1.2 to 5V, with the other side being 3.3V? I can only find ICs that support 1.2 to 3.3V or 1.8V to 5V.

Other requirements: Max freq 50MHz. The ICs can be either bi-directional or unidirectional. Tri-statable would be useful. Not fussed about current consumption.

Thanks.

3.3v to 5v voltage level translation

your freq could be too high for low cost chips.

5v unidirectional translation

Have you looked at Analog Devices 33xx series? One of them would seem to suit your criteria. https://www.analog.com/en/interface/level-translators/products/index.html
Thanks, but not quite good enough. When you read the datasheet closely, the high voltage side has to be in the range 1.65V - 5V (So if I had this as 3.3V, the low side could only be 1.15 to 3.3V). Closest I found after original message was 74ALVC164245DL from NXP, but that is only 1.5 - 5V.
