hi,everyone
I am designing a flash adc. As you know, it is composed of the array of comparators and the digital encoder. I have a question about the encoder.
The encoder is designed by using transistors in spectre or the netlist in verilog in practice.

Hi,

For designing encoder. You can use verilog model and generate digital output or transistor level. From results point of view there is no difference.

But use verilog model you can make more analysis and go for PNR type of layout.

Bye.
