16f628 problem erasing

I have a 16F84 prog which is working great with ntpicprog, icprog, winpic800.
I tried to program 16f628 with same prog.
I succeeded to read and write but was not able to ERASE.

Attached is the schematic of my prog

Can anyone explain why and help me in solving this problem?
Thanks in advance

configure winpic800 to program 16f84

I have found 1 error it seems winpic800 has a bug.
I have managed to erase it with other software.
But don't know if it still needs other tricks please advise.
If I solve it I will post the answer

If your configure your chip with internal osc, and code protect, the programmer should have a Vpp before Vdd facility. otherwise, the moment Vdd is given the chip goes into operation and you won't be able to got to programming mode.

Please check whether your programmer and its software has that facility to controll Vpp before Vdd. I don't feel it has. I think it is from Elektor and perhaps there is an update for the same.

There is one design by DL4YHF which manages its power supply with this facility. it is externally powered. Incidentally I made a layout for the same. for those who are interested I am attaching a zip file. Perhaps one can make board by TTS method, with a good and dark laser print.

osc ntpicprog

Sure
the problem was due to a very very small scratches on the pcb which were not detected by a voltmeter
