Please let me know that how to invoke the "synthesis menu containing RTL Synthesis & Gate Synthesis" in cadence Encounter version 5.2.

Can we directly generate netlist, constraint files........ without using Cadence RTL compiler?

Synthesis menu

what does you mean?
you want to RTL to GDSII ?
or synthesis the RTL and Netlist?
If later,you may dont touche the nestlist and only synthesis the RTL

Without using RTL Compiler for synthesis. You cant take the rtl to encounter.. Only synthesis tool available in Encounter now is RTL Compiler.
Let me know.. If u need any more information.

I wanted to know how to use inbuilt Synthesis tool (RTL compiler) with just having SoC First Encounter (P&R tool) license ie using first encounter tool.
