Hi.

I am reading something regarding this standard and there is a part about smartcard and reset. If the ATR signal consists of some characters then is it normal to look at ATR signal as onto standard serial connection package transfer ?

Am trying to define the characters inside the ATR so i can understand how is this transfered from smartcard to mobile phone.

Yes, when interfacing smartcards, it's always necessary to decode at least part of ATR data. But what's exactly the question?

The exact question would be:
Is the data transfer , during the ATR stage, between chipcard and cellular, the same as normal serial data transfer like from some serial cable to PC ?

Am trying to define how the ATR characters are passed when chipcard is set to some predefined states. Like in this example, in the ATR stage.

I know that in this stage different characters are passed but i dont understand when each character is passed, and whats the length of each character.

p.s. look at PM
