Can anyone show me how to setup the simulation in AWR for a BJT frequency multiplier? I am using an Active biasing network also.

Thank you,
ks

frequency multipliers bjt

do u have a specific library for the AWR
or u use the decives in it

Yes, I am using the modelitic library on AWR. The active bias network is just a regular pnp.

I just need an example with any BJT. I never dealt with Nonlinear simulation before and AWR. Im use to ADS. But, I am required to use AWR for this project.

Thanks alot,
ks

Hello kosolson,

AWR has standarad example on Multiplier (FET & Diode) in the xamples folder...
I think you can use FET multiplier example to see the setup for Nonlinear (HB) simulations
which includes RF Source port, Biasing & Nonlinear measurements...

To open this example go to your AWR Microwave Office (MWO) folder on your machine...
