VLSI CAREER

hi,
I am honnaraj, i completed my M.Tech (VLSI ) in BANGALORE....
as you people know the openings in vlsi domain in BANGALORE is not good...not only that the guidliness for VLSI DOMAIN and project is not good ....... so please help me to become a good in VLSI .........how i can start study and from which subject and where i will get the project and how i can try for company..................etc

There is an institute in bangalore named as rv vlsi so u go there and ask because there are working together with cadence, synopsis,mentorgraphics...........U just type rv vlsi in google u will get tht

As I know, only banglore has got many opportunities than any other city.

i know there is lot company in bangalore. but the way they are reqcruiting is horrible because they are reqcruiting through reference . they are not doing any ofcampus..... guide me to get in.........................................

search for a small concern..........
many companies dont recruit freshers instead they they give intenship (as project work) and on the performance they give job

companmy like synopsys, frescale and LSI logic recruits through intenship

As far I knw, sandeepani is good. One of my friend joined and they placed him in a good company. I guess, most of the hiring (for freshers) happens thru these institutes. Talk to the institute people and decide. Good luck.

That's well said indeed. This is same as what we see at CVC working with our coporate customers during our consulting projects. They would like to hire interns who are qualified in relevant skills (in our case the domain is front-end VLSI Design-Verification with SystemVerilog being focus). We have several such outstanding requests as of today with not enough candidates available for the job with *right* skills.

Talk to the institute people and decide. Good luck.

Also, going by Gopi's (www.testbench.in) suggestion - talk to the STUDENTS/TRAINEEs and not just the "institute people". Also check who is teaching what topics.

Veda iit,CDAC,RV-Vlsi and some other institutes provide excellent training in vlsi logic design and physical design to get into these institutes you will need to face written test followed by interview..........,
These institutes are in Hyd,Banglore....,
