Failed to load chrt18base/libInit.il and chrt18rf/libInit.il

cadence libinit.il

Hi every one,
I installed the chrt18rf_sige_Rev2.1a_062405.tar from pdk.cadence.com.
but when I try to open an testcase schematic which includes only a MOS symbol from chrt18base and a MOS symbol from chrt18rf ,then the failure appears in the cds.log as follows:

does this failure caused by the unregistered tool of "UltraSim"?
or there are some wrong in the "chrt18base/libInit.il" and "chrt18rf/libInit.il" ?

i'm using ic5141 base under rhel4.

ic5141 which USR ?
Ultrasim is not part of IC5141, you need MMSIM61 (check the latest USR) installed to run ultrasim.

If you are doing RF (Chartered 0.18um RF ?) then you don't need ultrasim...

ic5141 base and Chartered 0.18um RF.
so , you mean this problem does not caused by the unregistered tool of ultrasim.
then i'd better check the file of libInit.il.

asienvgetvar cadence

Hey I am facing the same error. Have been on it for over a week now with no solution. however i have have observed some things.
There is a file by the name "libInitCustomExit.il" . I think it loads the model libraries for the cadence tools. whent i deleted the information for ultrasim and ams. the errors went away. however i am not sure that that resolves the problem.
Any sort of help is greatly appreciated.
