olympex led

The hard disk of the PC connected to our Olympex LED Displayed PC recently crashed. We have replaced it but unfortunately, we cannot seem to find the software that transmitted the infomation to the data wall board.

The information usually displayed on the board was came from an excel file that looks like a smaller version of the databoard. What is typed on the excel sheet is what is then displayed on the data board.

The data board is connected to the PC (windows 98 O/S) via a multiport serial connection box (Opt8z DB62(M) to a 8 x DB25(F) RS-422 Connection Box) which is then connected to an internal Moxa C218Turbo/PCI 8-port intelligent RS-232 Universal PCI Board in the PC.

Would there be an open source software that can transmit this to the board?

thanks
