How to equate one terminal to another during Cadence LVS run?

how do i can equate one terminal to other during lvs run

what do you mean equate?

If you want to make all your terminal to be equal from your schematic to your layout you will need to update your connectivity>updates>components and nets.(VXL)


That way you are sure that your nets and terminal are correct.

Hi,
i would like to explain the doubt
we can make virtual connection for identical net using Joinable Net option
but here i want to connect different net names virtually

i think now the question is clear pls help me

which tool you are using for lvs.

for calibre -
there is a option in calibre rve - "connect nets named"...........use this option.

same way you would also be having such an option in your tool, just find it.

hope this solves your problem.

Also in Assura, there is a "use joint net" function or something like that. You can use that function to do LVS
