I meet problem in an nonstandard wlan project, anyone could give me some suggestions on "PA with power down mode for 340MHz"

Does it mean that considering an amplifier that works @ 340MHz with Power Down Feature ?

Regards ,

PA

yes. It is used in a TDD mode, so a power down func is required especially when the output noise floor is not very low. I initially found a chip from RFMD, but its on/off time is too long(>100us).

Thanks for considering my request, and looking for further suggestions.

system change

Do you have any control on the system design? Making the packets longer and less frequent will allow the >100us amplifier to work.

RF PA

I tried to connect with the Base band designer and got some compromize of switching time. Also I think I should change the capcitor connected to the switch to reduce the switching time.

Tnank you all.
