Hi

I am currently working on a cctv system with composite video in/out which connects via up to 40ft coax outdoor. To protect the circuit I plan to also use GDTs in combo with other surgeprotection circuits on the composite video intake. However, I have never used those fellows before and though I know the principle behind its design I am unsure for which criteria to choose the right GDT for composite video signals. If you know a good source for where to look or have experiences with particular active devices I would be glad to hear about it. For the record, power is feed to the camera on a separate line.
