hard disk not detected while booting??

try to set up ms windows with another dvd.or try this dvd on another ms windows to find out it performs.

in bios it is not detected? :roll:
 

If you can hear drive spinning, it has power. Then try another data cable (the thinner ribbon one) and try another SATA channel on the board, they usually have at least four. Need to see model name showing in bios under a submenu like devices. Also can try a CMOS reset, either a button on the board hold for 5 seconds while system powered off or just take out the coin battery for 5-10 seconds. Otherwise hard drive is probably defective.
