Help me with designing a composite video MUX 2:1

Composite video MUX 2:1

Hello,

I would appreciate help in designing a multiplexor for composite video.

I need to make the MUX of 2:1 with following characteristics:
- Low cost (maximum price about 1 USD)
- Single power supply +12V
- Low distorsion

I would appreciate if someone could propose me a component.

You can have one for free...
Go to MAXIM_IC site, select 2:1 MUX IC and order samples. It is pretty good chance that in a week or so you will receive 2-off of IC that you selected.
But before you do this you will have to register with MAXIM...painless...

Maxim have products for video, but is expensive. I will try to look for another option.
