Capacitor values for use with 32.768KHz crystal (microcontroller crystal)

Hello,

I am using the ABS25-32.768KHz crystal with a microcontroller. Do you know what is the capacitance value that i have to use with it?...

The datasheet appears to recomend 1.35pF.....surely it can't be that low?

The PIC datasheet does provide guidelines for selecting the capacitance:

But it does also mention this:

Pay attention to point 2.

So you might want to go with the recommended value.
