-Up to 8K x 14 words of FLASH Program Memory,
-Up to 368 x 8 bytes of Data Memory (RAM)
-Up to 256 x 8 bytes of EEPROM Data Memory

ATMEGA8-16PU
has:
-130 Powerful Instructions (RISC arhitecture)
-Up to 16 MIPS Throughput at 16 MHz

plesse help me...

difference in atmega8-16pu and atmega8l

Microchip doesn't recommend the PIC16F877 for new designs - it has been superceded by the PIC16F887.

For someone to provide a valid recommendation, you need to provide details on your project. Otherwise, we can't accurately gauge the memory, power and speed requirements necessary to meet your needs. There are thousands of processor to choose from.

Microchip has a great on-line tool that can aid you in selecting a controller - https://www.microchip.com/maps/microcontroller.aspx

atmega vs pic16f

i take same information from 2,3 ore 4 sensors(temperature, weight, vibration, humidity) with a microcontrolor, and y have to send them to distance(with GSM modem) to a computer.
I want to use pic-ul but my teacher want to use atmel-ul...and i need to know what to use......
