TVS Diode question

I am trying to get ESD protection for a board that has multiple ICs.
I'd like to use TVS diodes, because they're small.
Does each VCC pin on each IC need its own TVS diode?
For example the main MCU has 7 VCC pins, does that require 7 TVS?

thank you

Re: TVS Diode question

i think it must be. if mcu has 7 vcc pins, all vcc pins have their own tvs diodes. and the diodes should be placed as close as posible to the under protected IC.
regards.

Re: TVS Diode question

well if u want to protect it through ESD only , use TVS diode on external IO with series resisitance in each one
