Hi all;

I want to simulate the four quadrant multiplier(in cadence).wherein the inputs are currents and output is difference of IO1 and I02.The below ckt is for getting the idea how it is ...

The output that i want is as shown in the below fig.

I want to simulate the ckt (from one of the IEEE paper different from the above ckt shown) .
What i want to know is

How to do the DC analysis in CADENCE.wherein Iin1 sweeps from -5nA to 5nA Vs Vout for Iin2 sweep from -5nA to 5nA with 2.5 nA steps
What i mean is when i click on aanlyses form i select dc analysis where i select the sweep variable as component parameter i would select Iin1 but how to include Iin2 as also one of the parameter and the graph should be Iin1 vs Vout. how can i do it ? please provide all the steps needed for it as i am newbie in cadence...

Try Parametric Analyses.If i remember well is under the menu Tools-->Parametric Analyses of the ADE L environment.
You can pass the one swept parameter in the dc analysis and the other to the parametric analysis setup or pass both swept variables in parametric analyses.
Give it a try and if you need more help come back and ask again more.

I tried using Parametric analysis
The waves that i got is as below.

I want to plot Iin1 vs Iout by sweeping the Iin2 by 2.5nA.

How to do that ...

I think i have already answered to your question.Think that :

What would you do if you wanted to plot the ID-VDS characteristic for a MOS transistor with VGS as a parameter?
You would put a swept variable VDS in dc analysis and a swept variable VGS in Parametric Analysis menu and then plot!
Same procedure for your concern ;-)
