Question about 74LS244...

I want to test my 74ls244 ic if it is working. I tried connecting the negative terminal of the multimeter to GND and the positive terminal to the other pins and measured low resistance values. Is my ic working properly? Please help.:p
 

You need to know the function of the IC in order to test. Just measuring resistance without understanding what you are connecting to will not produce valuable information.

Download the datasheet and see if you can develop a test of the 74LS244 yourself. One source for the datasheet is 74LS244 Datasheet.
