Hi,

I am university student. I have chosen a project of digital voltmeter and ammeter. Well voltage in not problem. But I am having problem in ammeter circuit. can any one suggest me current sensing IC or Current sensing amplifier.

thanks in advance.

If you know how to measure voltage measuring current should not present big problem ..
Simple current to voltage conversion can be done on a shut resistor, and voltage across resistor is measured as R[sunt] * I ..
If needed, you can amplify or scale the voltage using opamps or by selecting R[shunt] in such a way that the reading is “nicely” proportional to current in mili-Amps or Amps ..
