DC motor using PIC 18F(microchip)

Hi ,

I am over all new for motor deriver working .:sad:
I am working for Robotic project .for that we are using PIC18F controller .
Please provide me detail to start my work :idea:.

1. Study how motor drivers work
2. Study how PIC work, configuring, programming, debugging by blinking LED
3. Combine both of them :)
 

It depends on what motor you want to drive, there are hundreds of different combination. I would advise you to first check out a simple servo motor, as it is easy to interface and donot require much circuitry, for other DC motors, try a simple H-bridge which is commonly used and circuit can be found on google images easily

What you want to know? just to drive DC motor?
u can use transistor drivers, ULN series ICs

I am working for robot arm project . i am using PIC18F2331 this controller for servo Dc motor dervier .i want some sample code which guid me for rotation of robo arms to some degree .
Give me help which complier i use for this work.

you can use l293d for driving simple DC motors, and as far as pic controllers are concerned, it is a high end controller and the data sheet itself has a lot of explanation for initializing ports and other peripherals.

Thanks for ur reply.
we have PIC-SERVO SC (servo motor) board which i have to interface with my board intel board (where camer is detect the object) .useing intel board i have send commnade to PIC-SERVO SC -board to rotate my rob arm in 5 -DOF .I want to understand the trajectory parameter implentation the rotation or sample code to implement it plese help me out i am new on this .
