Hi all,

Im thinking about moving From touch GLCDs to something like a HMI. The thing is i think they can be interfaced with PLC's(Programmeable Logic Controllers) easily(manufacturers have libraries for many different company PLC protocals) but not something like a PIC.

I want to make a room control set-up. So basically i have a PIC18F4550 Driving and reading sensors. Now comes the part im not sure of: How do i interface the PIC with the HMI module??? Does anyone have any project examples or ideas?

Thanks, Look forward to hearing from you all!
