4-20ma circuit

hi every body
I am looking for a circuit that converts 4-20mA to 0-5V
the powersupply is 24vdc
i need the circuit diagram please.
thanks

4-20ma receiver circuit

You can use the AD627 integrated circuit, here attached the working circuit that I've used in some applications. Obviously you've to supply the AD627 with a +5V filtered voltage.

4 20 ma circuits

Hi F.F. a.k.a. Powermos,

Can you please give the BOM for the circuit you have given for 4mA - 20mA current to 0v - 5v voltage conversion?

What are the values of resistors and capacitors used in this circuit?

Regards,
Ravi

4 20ma receiver

Sure bro here you are:

U32= AD627
R86= not used
R87= not used
R88= 24.9 Ohm
R89= 20k
R90 = 20k
R91= not used
C25 = 100 nF
C26 = 22nF
C27= 1nF
C28= 1nF

with this settings the AD627 will work with voltage gain of 5, if you like to know a little more about this device and related use look also the datasheet, this schema is on page 23, figure 52 (the only difference was that I've added also the r.f. filtering you see on same datasheet at page 21).

Hope this help

Cheers

I would like just to point that given circuit works as 0-20mA receiver, not 4-20mA. If you feed this into ADC and MCU it might not present problem, but you loose some dynamic range.

circuit for 4-20ma to 0-5v with op-amp

hey pal...
i have the same requirement but with different needs...

I need to to convert 4-20mA to 0-1V variable by using LM 741 or OP-07 or 324...

please tell me the circuit diagram with all the component values... for each circuit using each OP-AMP...

please reply as soon as possible the three different circuit diagrams using above OP-AMPs...

i'll be much more greatful..... PLZ...
