circuits for conversion of dc to ac

i need a circuit for conversion of dc to ac power

Such a device is called an inverter but information on the dc input and the ac voltage/current output would be needed to be able to offer more specific information.

Yes, it is an inverter. But all I want is how to convert 12V DC to 12V AC for the input of an AC step up transformer (coil). Please help me with the circuit. I tried a few circuit but it did not work. No voltage output from the circuit to supply the AC transformer.

First of all you need an oscillator of the desired frequency.
After this you might have to amplify the biasing signal produced by the oscillator by a darlington and by parallel connected transistors or FET's prior to feeding it to the transformer coil.
You must have to mention the desired frequecy and the Power requirement of your AC output to have a complete circuit.

U need to know the frequency to know what kind of transformer to use or know the transformer to know what is the frequency.
