spectre distributed monte carlo mps

Hi all:

I designed a comparator, in the comparator circuit, the W, L and M of the Input Transistor(NMOS) is 2u, 1.5u and 2.

But when I perform the Monte Carlo Analysis, there have a problem: I modified the M of the Input Transistor 2 to 8, I found that the simulation result is not changed! i.e. the simulation result of M=2 is all the same to the simulation result of M=8!

I don't think this simulation result is right! the simulation result shouldn't be the same. I do not know what's wrong with the simulation! Help me please, thanx!!

monte carlo spectre expressions

Try to use instead of parameter M parallel transistors, for example M1 <1:8>.

Hi pit1000: would you tell me why the simulation result is not right whtn I use the parameter M?

The multiplication factor not affect variations parameters.
